EnviroProbe NW is owned and operated by Karl Van Zandt, who has more than twenty years of experience in soil and groundwater investigations. Our project experience includes both the office and field aspects of environmental investigations, with project leads in large and small projects – including site characterizations, preliminary assessments, risk-based assessments, remedial investigation and budget analysis/feasibility studies, and Initial Abatement Remedial Action (IARA).

We specialize in performing groundwater sampling and monitoring, sub-surface soil investigations, surface water sampling, excavation of polluted media, managed and supervised Level II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit compliance for construction excavations, decommissioning of underground storage tanks (USTs), Level I Environmental Site Assessments for residential, commercial, and industrial sites according to current ASTM standards as well as Hazardous Waste Operator & Supervisor qualified.
